I am excited to announce that I will compete on Team USA in the World Photographic Cup along with 27 other professional photographers from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). 57 countries will come together for the awards presentation in Reykjavik, Iceland on April 25, 2026.
The World Photographic Cup (WPC) is an international photography competition that brings together professional photographers from around the globe to compete on their national team. Like the Olympic Games, the Cup awards individuals’ images with gold, silver, and bronze medals. Then, teams earn points based on an aggregate score of the top ten images in all categories. The World Photographic Cup is awarded to the national team that receives the highest overall score.
How are images selected for Team USA? Team USA images are selected from submissions to the International Photographic Competition (IPC) and Merit Image Review (MIR), and the maker must be a U.S. citizen. Images chosen based on the WPC categories and what PPA feels will give the team the best chance to compete on the world stage.
I am incredibly honored to represent my country along with so many talented photographers!
